8 People You Must Send A Halloween Greeting Card To

Halloween Ecards
Halloween is next Friday! You need to hurry up and get e-cards sent out to the people you hold dear. Of course, the last time anyone got a card from you for the holidays it was probably Christmas. But its OK, we understand and that is why we are here… You work a lot, your kids drive you bonkers, the mailman refused to come to your house, your hands didn’t work.
You don’t need an excuse with us. Just be sure to send a card or a free Halloween e-card this year to these 8 important people to show them that you still care, and that you aren’t a total jerk.
Mom
Mom loves you, and you know she thinks the world of you. Just because she didn’t send you cold hard cash for your birthday this year, doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve a card every once in awhile. Make sure to pick out a Halloween greeting card that has a cute saying or maybe a funny and cute picture on it. Tell mom you love her and you miss her, and sign the bottom as “Your son” or “Your daughter”. Never forget about mom!
Dad
Whether you love or hate your father (you don’t really hate him, you just hold a grudge), you still need to keep in touch.
Find a good Halloween themed greeting card to send his way. This can be something that is funny, and will remind him of you and of the good times you have when you are together. Or, it can be something dark, that reminds him that you still hold a grudge, but care enough to take the time to send a greeting card.
Brother
Your brother is, well, your brother! Get him a greeting card that matches his personality, and be sure it will make him laugh. Also remind him in the card that you miss him, and he better be around on Halloween to help you scare little children and eat a ton of candy. Or, you may have that type of brother that would appreciate a more mischievous ecard like the one below:
Sister
Your sister misses you. I don’t care what any of you say, sisters always miss each other. They are more emotional than brothers, and even though they try really hard to hide it at times, they usually suck at it, so you can see right through them.
Tell your sister to have a fun Halloween, and maybe stop by to have lunch with you if she lives nearby.
Trust me when I say, a sister will remember something like this, and will really appreciate the thought and effort, however minute it may be.
Boyfriend/Girlfriend
Your lover needs cards. A greeting card is basically something that says “I actually took a little bit of time out of my day to do something for you, and here it is!”
You can get one of those cute cards that pictures an animated “corpse couple” on the front. As morbid as it may seem, they are actually pretty cute, and in a funny way.
You can also use this as an opportunity to tell them about how you just can’t wait to see them in that sexy Halloween costume! You can kill two birds with one stone.
Your Boss
Everyone wants to tell their boss how they really feel, but most people can’t, simply because their boss can fire them. I know, it’s a cruel world, but don’t worry, stick through it and someday you can be the boss, and then everyone will hate you too.
Until then, go ahead and look for a sneaky way of flipping your boss the bird, using a Halloween greeting card! There are some really funny cards out there these days, and with all that selection, it shouldn’t be very tough to find a card that sarcastically states something like “I figured I would send you a card for Halloween because I want a raise. So, here is a picture of a Mummy!” Ok, I have no idea if that’s actually a card, but it would be pretty funny! So, also remember that there are tons of ways to make your own greeting cards, and maybe, just maybe, you can make one just for your boss.
Grandma
Grandma absolutely loves when you write her! Not only should you be sending her little trinkets and letters on a regular basis, because those are the things that warm her heart, but you should also be sending her a card on every damn Holiday you can think of, and Halloween is no exception!
Be sure to stick to a cute card for Grandma. Also take the time to write something cute and sweet within the card, and tell her how much you love her and miss her. Another thing that Grandma might also really find endearing would be if you took a few minutes to draw cute and funny doodles and designs on the outside of the envelope.
Your Children
If you have any kids that don’t live at home anymore, you probably already sent them a Halloween greeting card, along with some orange cookies that you made yourself. But, if you haven’t gotten around to it just yet, be sure to get it done soon!
Sometimes your children can act like their life is very busy, and somewhat make you feel like you aren’t still very important. But don’t worry, you are, and I promise that they will smile when they see that you sent them a cute greeting card in the mail. Fill the card out with something heartfelt, and they feel that warmth that only a parent can provide.
If they don’t write you back, no more cookies for them.
